Thought I would add this one to the collection because it is the first time I have seen a 'New Zealand' Tshirt in China.

There is another one from NZ that was popular a few years ago in Guangdong, and seems to have made a comeback this summer:

Christchurch Botanic Gardens

The gardens are very nice but are not up there with famous places like Hollywood. Maybe they think the name has some religious significance.

Saw one I liked, partly because it was on a rather nice-looking young woman. Front had "I'm just starting my journey." Back "Guide me!"

While in Shanghai, I saw an incredibly witty shirt. It said:

LA84
The Legend Began

I had to explain it to the g/f.  1984 Los Angeles were Communist China's first Olympics

Took a photo of it and it's hidden somewhere in my files, but imagine this dudes:

Young Muslim kid in the heart of old town Kashgar sporting a lively green T-Shirt that reads "I love Jesus" (he was wearing an Islamic faith hat too).

For Dex - Maybe you can use this photo. Except, it was taken in Baoji and not Kashgar, the girl does not look like a boy and she isn't wearing a hat.. . . and someone has made a slight alteration to the wording.

Apart from those minor details I am sure this is your missing photo.

Saw one I liked this morning:
