The boy is hallucinating again. Today Suzhou is cloudy, wet, and cold.
But yeah, the forsythia (yellow flowers) are indeed in bloom. As are the tulip trees... agagagagag

Yes, it's rainy today.  I taught kndergarten this morning, so it was a good thing: I taught them:

Rain rain (arms over head to shield from rain) go away (shoo!)
Come again (Chinese underhand come hither scoop) another day (point off to the side)
Little children (palms down. indicating much smaller being), little children, little children WANT TO PLAY! (shake fists up and down)

I told them, as I'm wont to do, that if they all sang it perfectly 3 times it wouild stop raining.  Now get this:

It did. ararararar  Then it started up again, so we sang it again, and it stopped again.   aeaeaeaeae  It stgarted up between classes, then when we sang the song, it stopped again, right on cue.

Spring is sprung.  The willows are greening up, the magnolias are flowering, the cat-tails are bombing all who walk beneath them with seed pods, all different birds have returned to keep the blue magpies and the sparrows company and the temps are in the high teens-low 20's.

the gobi desert is attacking beijing today.... it's looking like somebody stole the blue out of the sky.... pretty nasty to wake up and see that outside of my window.
