Weather Check

We already have Juju power at work - seems like typhoon itself passed by and only left a trail of rain.

And are we ever getting the rain!!  It hasn't rained in my office, yes that's IN my office, since the monsoon season ended in July.  I've got the bucket and mop out today.  No heavy winds, though.  Maybe Mr. Nobody's getting the brunt of the typhoon.

Let's hope it passes by. We are on yellow alert again. If it is still on tomorrow, then classes will be canceled. I can't say it's been raining as much as when the previous one hit. Wind kinda comes and goes.

Truly glorious day in Xi'an today - blue skies, sunshine, Max temp 25, min 14.  All good. 

Ruddy cold and windy in Dalian.  I don't understand how we go from summer - no light jacket to COLD and a heavy jacket.

It has rained non-stop for four days. I like rain but this is just silly....

Very heavy fog yesterday morning, getting heavier as we went out of the city.  Beautiful sunny day today, skies clear(ish) with visible difference between clouds and sky.  But definitely getting chilly.

So cold with the windchill today that the xiao jies were charging 50 rmb just to blow on your (not mine) hands. 

Warm enough I had to change from heating to air conditioning.

Since I've been back it's been, on average, 32C warmer in Suzhou than in Calgary.

We have 32 cm snow forecast for Saturday night and Sunday. LE would be happy.    Kids will be happy.  I won't.
