Amazing, innit, how 2 people can experience the same thing so differently. DS has been down south and now finds Dalian a bit cold. I was up in Changchun for the holiday(hiya, DD!) and since coming back I don't think I've done up my jacket. We're both from the same hometown, so go figure.

Thnaks Lotus Eater. It gave an Error Message for Baoji (something to do with 'compression') so I sent the site a message. Maybe, it will get fixed before Global Warming becomes the norm.

In Jinghong and Kunming it has been perfect the last few days, but I think it always is. Heading back to Wuhan should be nice and miserable.

The moon tonight.

The promised snow did not happen!  But it did reach 19 degrees.

It seems the last two winters I've spent in New Jersey (2002-3 and 2009-10) are the coldest damn winters of my life. Just got pounded with another storm--wet snow, freezing rain, more snow, still snowing...I should be able to dig my car out by May.

We were supposed to get more than 35 cm but now only 14 cm is forecast.  bfbfbfbfbf

Supposed to start at 1PM but at 5PM only a few flakes to be seen.  Not complaining as I really don't want to walk to school in deep snow tomorrow.

It is snowing a bit again here, but more like that nasty snow mixed with rain. It isn't really cold enough for real snow anymore as we're above freezing during the day now. I hope it stops, I've had enough of snow for this year. It is March 1st tomorrow, it needs to start warming up.

Our niece who is up here from Yunnan is flipping out though, I think maybe she's never seen snow before. Glad she could get a chance to see it before winter is completely over.

Coolish, plus light rain here in Xi'an - some more promise of snow.   Don't know if the major artillery and bombing of the fireworks will break up the clouds, or cause snow!  :)

High 20's in beautiful Dongguan.  I think I need to buy a pair of shorts and some flip flops.
