Chinese weather experts must be clairvoyant, they predicted the snow BEFORE the disaster

I kept hearing this annoying tapping outside, against my sliding glass patio doors.
"Damn crazy neighbors", I thought. But it kept up and I finally opened the blinds to look.

Say hello to quarter-sized hail, bouncing all over and accumulating on the ground.

I switched to a local TV station...golf-ball-sized hail is coming this way, followed by baseball-sized hail. They're saying East Tulsa, including me, is facing massive damage.
And I have no covered parking...

Damn monsoon! Stop raining already.

Back in Toronto, we had two seasons, winter and construction

In Changchun we also have two seasons, cold and miserable or wet and miserable

The lower Yangtze has finally come out of a terrible winter/spring drought and into the "huang mei" wet season.

I am all for the drought relief, but otherwise it's absolutely feckin horrible.  It's hot, humid and raining all at the same time, all the time.

I can hardly breath during the day time because the air is like second-hand soup, and i need the fan on full blast or the air con just to get some sleep at night.  I don't remember it being this bad for me in previous years.

In the North-east not wet at all. Yesterday was a hot 36 degrees in Harbin so summer is here.

worst rain storms we've seen in a while have hit Beijing tonight... the city is literally one hell of a large swimming pool!

Looks like I picked a great day to work from home:
