Showers and rain are fine to walk in, wild storms for about 10 minutes. Mist is annoying - neither one or 'tother.  I love standing in the winds of wild storms watching the lightning (for a little while - then I retreat behind the windows and watch from comfort - preferably with a fine red wine in hand.

Oh thunder. The first blast echoed a few seconds ago.

Unfortunatily I've been told that the rain will be over by Saturday and that leaves us with quite a few VERY LOT OF STICKY WEEKS in the coming months.

The rain I thought I was going to get yesterday didn't eventuate. Today is 32o with a light breeze. Nice.  agagagagag

No thunder in my part of Xi'an.  ananananan   Light rain and cool, cool days.

But today, early, the mountains could be seen.  They are close enough to walk to from the new campus - but in general can't be seen.  Shame!

After lunch, more gentle rain. Lovely weather for ducks, rainbirds, and photographers!

Light rain this morning, then clear this afternoon - BLUE sky (well pale blue anyway!) for Xi'an.

It's hard to tell what the weather is this morning ... I can't see that far because of the smog.  A clue I would guess is that the guys are already rolling up their teeshirts and rubbing their tummies and the gals are fanning themselves with their hands - might be a bit warm out.

No the guys roll their t-shirts up to show the girls their gorgeous bodies.  The girls are fanning themselves to keep from fainting at the sight of so many desirable men.  agagagagag

Hot and still. There's not even a hint of a breeze around.

Rain has gone, skies are still clear-ish, but it is now back to hot. Yesterday's high was 36 (or 96 for the USAnians).  But - more rain is predicted for later this week, so with luck, it'll cool down again.

Raining heavily here.  Computer said light fog and sunny later.  Guess the computer is wrong - again.

Heavy rain has stopped, cloudy so should be nice - eventually.
