My stomach feels like I've done about 5000 crunches, but otherwise I'm doing ok after surgery. It was laparoscopic, so not as bad as a traditional operation, but still pretty intense and I definitely would not have wanted to have any language barriers or doctors who were hesitant to prescribe narcotics.
