How to Do Short-Term Rentals for Winter Vacation?

Hello Everyone,

My friend in Beijing is a student.  But, unlike the rest of China, she does not intend to travel.  Instead, she is going to stay in Beijing and hang out and study.

She does not want to pay an agent a month's worth of rent just so he can write the contract.

1.  Are there any good places for short-term rentals?

In any other country, I might try AirBNB.com.  In China, are there such places?

I have heard about WellCee.com.

2.  Anything else, for either winter or summer break? (6-8 weeks).

AirBNB, VRBO, Chinese equivalents.

Some hotels may offer monthly rates.

Also, like most things in China, ask around.  One of your students has an aunt who has a colleague who went to school with someone who sold a car to someone else who does short term rentals.
