Anybody have hotel recommendations? Taking a bird with me so I want a decent place.

I believe next to the bus station is a cool hot pot place that allows folks to bring in their own meat, they will pluck, gut & chop it up for ya...  bfbfbfbfbf

Yangshuo hotel right on the river city center a block up from west street, depending on day, should be tween 120 & 180 Yuan a night. If you reserve a room in advance, ask for room #508... next best is #308.

I'm in Guilion at the moment. It feels and looks a lot like Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam, a lot of motorcycles...

But I reckon it's a bit overrated. I was expecting the city to look a little nicer than it does. The touts and taxi drivers who try to take you somewhere yolu dont want to go to and who don't want to use the meter. asasasasas

I'll be in Guilin tomorrow, but for the only reason to go to Guilin and that's to get to yangshuo.
