About Our school:
No 1 Primary School is a government school located in the heart of changan town, Dongguan city, Guangdong province. It's a key school in the Changan area. Changan town is only 40 minutes drive from Shenzhen city and 90 minutes from the cosmopolitan city of Hong Kong. The work/classroom facilities in the college are modern and spacious.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Teaching:
- Maximum 20 teaching hours in class per week, not including preparation time (40 minutes a period of class)
- teach Oral English to primary school students ( age from 6—12, 50 students/each class ); Office hours are the same as other Chinese teachers
Qualifications:
- Must be a native English speaker (preferably American, Canadian, British, or Australian)
- College or Bachelor Degree from a recognized institution
- Good physical health and fit to travel without medical condition
- Good communication and inter-personal skills
- At least one year teaching experience in China
Contract Details:
- A one (Sept-mid Jan) or two semester (Sept-jul) contract is available commencing November, 2007
- Base salary is 7000RMB per teaching month
- Round trip air tickets based on full completion of two semester contract (RMB8000); one way air ticket based on completion of one semester contract (RMB4000).
- Teaching bonus (4000RMB) issued at the end of every completed semester.
- Work Visa and residency permit fully paid
- Will offer annual accidental insurance
- Free Mandarin lessons if desired
- Free private accommodation at international staff housing on campus

The school will pay for all utility bills, such as gas, water and electricity up to 300RMB.

- The instructor shall be entitled to those paid and unpaid holidays that occur during the contract period. There are approximately 4.5 weeks of paid holiday per year (included weekends), including:
- 1 paid week of May Day holiday from May 1st to May 7th
- 3 paid weeks of Chinese New year holiday
- 1 paid week of National Day holiday from October 1st to October 7th
- 4 paid days of Christmas and New Year Holiday
