tianjin is around 3000rmb a month for 'not too shabby' or 'ok' apartments.
could be less but i would budget this as a upper level for a couple, more for bigger, obviously!

Thanks for the Tianjin info. Didn't get the job though. I'm moving to Xiamen though. I've been looking at apartments online and I see that 6000 rmb basically gets you an amazing apartment.
