Only God knows why, but I've been asked to participate in a group that is looking at my university's teacher compensation levels in order to assess our competiveness. They don't necessarily want to hire professors but competant people who are solid teachers, (in a Western style), and capable of doing rigorous research.
Anyone on the forum involved closely in their university's Human Resources Department, have input on this subject or can recommend someone who may be willig to give me advice or sources for my own investigation?
Thanks in advance. I know this is general, but that's what I'm tasked with.
