Fantasy Hockey?

not that anyone has a chance against me.

I could say hockey puck off, but maybe we will just get you to eat one. 

Is there actually any point in pre-selecting players??  I don't think I got any that I chose and got a bunch of names I have never seen??

Is this rascule ever going to go to the Draft?

It has gone and went.  We have our teams - as strange as they are. 

I seem to have a few familiar names...maybe they are good ones! When does play commence??

October 3rd is the start.

I thought we had a 'utility' position last year where we could put one player?  Or was that a baseball slot>>

 

Yeah, I guess I neglected to check the UTIL slot.

Folks, what say you all?  With so many more players this year, do we need it?

Ummm. I think so. Makes those hard decisions a little easier.













But I could be wrong! What do I know about hockey??

Can we add it or do we lose something if we do?  If we don't lose something then go for it.

What about the IR slot??  Does it only show up when a player is injured? 

The utility position is vital if it can be arranged without buggering up what you have put into place.  I like it by the way.  So-so start for me with being away (not setting lineups) and with Emery down for a bit.

I guess I am a sucker as I have kept one man in the IR slot hoping against hope that he will get better.  Emery is listed as day to day with no end in sight - still hoping against hope.  If this keeps up, I will again be pulling up in the rear as last year.  Goalies are an issue for me.  Other than that, not too bad so far.

Nothing to lose putting a guy in IR, old bean.  You can always kick him off your team later.

My guys haven't really played yet.  Unnerving to see my stats in the meantime.

I started on a roll, but as usual, fallen off the pace. That Toronto/Carolina game killed me and wildly assisted the wrong teams.
