How many English words do you know?

2nd test I got 42'001 although I suspect that the whole counting down in the corner is not so scientific

I think my vocabulary is pretty good except for words that sound Greek. I can guess a lot of Latin ones because I speak Italian...

I like this one better.  45,546 on level 1.

I am several levels into it now, and it has dropped down to under 30k for my score.

Vocab has never been my strong point and I did a science degree, which meant I was discouraged from using any "flowery" vocab - as my supervisor called it!

My score was 50100, apparently I know a lot of words...me...wordy...talkative...that is just silly...

28,600 some of those words made me feel very stupid.

Huh. 38,900... was expecting a much lower number. How do they do their extrapolatin' I wonder ...
