Gov'nt rescinds 'make up' work day for Qing Ming Jie holiday
« on: March 31, 2017, 10:35:13 PM »
I just got an email from my FAO -

The Central Committee has declared (at the last minute) there will be no 'make up' work day today (Saturday, April 1) for Monday being part the Qing Ming Jie holiday.

Woo hoo!... I don't have to teach Monday's classes classes today.

The Koreans once gave me five minutes notice - I didn't know what to do with the extra time.

For everywhere? Cause I'm still working today. bibibibibi
There is little in history to support the proposition that China was indeed the centre of the Asian universe commanding deference among less civilised states around its periphery...

Calach,

Even if the gov't did end those make up days, I'm sure your employers would decide to keep them. ahahahahah
