Thanks Stil!   About what time of day were these photos taken? I find it hard to comprehend such pollution. I wonder if Oz will be like this in about 50 yrs time?

The first two were taken about 1 pm the last 3 were taken between 4:30 and 5:30 pm. It's winter here so the sun was  pretty low in the sky by then.

I suppose it can be a little deceiving, but this is right downtown Changsha. The river bisects the city.

Oh, and Granny Mae, this was a good pollution day.
