China Unicom SIMs
« on: December 19, 2015, 02:33:03 AM »
Some research later and I'm wondering if anyone uses China Unicom. I keep seeing recommendations for the 3G A 66yuan/month plan.

But 66 yuan per month? If I could get 3G or LTE with China Unicom (and it looks like I should, probably - I have a Nexus 5 D821), then possibly I'd use data more than I currently do (which is not at all).

Anyone have any experiences?
when ur a roamin', do as the settled do o_0

I've been using China Unicom for years. No issues. I use an iPhone and pay 96rmb/month for 4G service. Most of my heavy data usage is on wifi (downloading podcasts overnight) I usually turn off wifi when out as the 4G is usually faster than public wifi or the wifi at my work places for streaming video etc. Service has been very good and my v*p*n auto-connects quickly and reliably.
