I'm putting together a mini-unit on pollution. It's written at an elementary level, but would be suitable for middle school students. We cover land pollution, soil pollution, water pollution and air pollution. Send me a PM if you are interested in the materials. You'll probably have to tweak it a bit by reviewing the vocabulary, but the PPTs have lots of pictures, so it will help get the message across.
