Best Cloud Storage?
« on: November 23, 2014, 03:07:43 PM »
I'm looking into cloud storage options.

I've found http://www.justcloud.com/how-it-works, but the reviews are mixed.

Do you use cloud storage and if so, which one(s) do you prefer and why?

This could be a problem for those in China.  It was just on the news that China is starting to block the 'Cloud',  Not sure if it is all cloud sources or just certain ones.

I did a quick Google search and found several links to this.  Here is one link:   http://techcrunch.com/2014/11/18/china-blocks-content-delivery-network-edgecast-cutting-access-to-thousands-of-websites/
Be kind to dragons for thou are crunchy when roasted and taste good with brie.

I think iCloud is your best bet since Apple seems very willing to bend to the Party's wishes in order to keep its services working. Dropbox doesn't work, Google Drive is out, and AWS-based services are highly unreliable.

I know there are Chinese services, but I am not willing to put any personal stuff on them.
