Started as a joint project between J.C. Penny and Sears in 1962, Bermuda Day has become a holiday observed by clothing sellers worldwide.  Celebrations are primarily centered around deep discounts on Bermuda shorts.

Today is the first day of Summer th_ab at least it is, here in BDA
The majority of Bermudians will be celebrating today by doing at least one of the following --
 
 running in the marathon "derby" th_be
 watching the race th_ax


 being in the parade th_aj


 watching the parade grouphug


 going to the beach surfing

 attending a party th_j snoopytrage




 ... and some will attempt to do all of the above.
