Finding new ways to conquer the world

Happy St. Patrick's Day!  I've dropped some green dye (says it's mostly safe for human consumption) into the beer, so drink up. th_ag th_ag th_ag

Ladies of the Saloon, there's a box of "Kiss me, I'm Irish!" buttons over in the corner.  Put one on and get in line.  No shoving.  Granny Mae is first since she had a reservation.

May the Sun rise up to meet you.  May the Wind be ever at your back.  And may you be in Heaven an hour, before the Devil knows you're dead th_bf

I want to go to the Pub and drink Green Beer today.  Hope I will be able to   th_ag th_ag

More Irish drinking toasts:

May your glass be ever full.
May the roof over your head be always strong.
May you live to be a hundred years, with one extra year to repent.

Here's to me, and here's to you, And here's to love and laughter- I'll be true as long as you, And not one moment after.

Here's to a long life and a merry one.
A quick death and an easy one.
A pretty girl and an honest one.
A cold beer - and another one!

Went to a local English Pub and drank a black and tan, ate a bowl of Irish Stew, then had a glass of Guinness.  I love Guinness   th_ak th_ak

Almost everyone at the pub were wearing green hats and had shamrock tattoos on their faces.

No one in my city celebrated St Patricks day. Im fairly sure only the other foreign teachers had even heard of it.
Instead I just had a quiet beer to myself after work hopefully next year will be more lively!

Made the Sprite green and put green frosting on 4-leaf clover sugar cookies for my middle-school private kids Sat. afternoon and did the same thing for the uni kids who hang out at our place on Sat. evenings.

green hats everywhere
About that...Pictures of people wearing green hats in my ppt lesson about the holiday cracked up my middle school kids - who are all too aware of what that means in China!!
