The concept of 'cheesy' is something that I have struggled to explain throughout my 4 year TEFL career. I am talking about cheesy music or movies, rather than flavouring!

How would you guys explain it in English to a Chinese student?

Does anyone know a satisfactory Chinese translation of the word/concept?
