This weekend I went to meet my girlfriend at the airport. She arrived in the morning so I spent the night in the airport. I took this as an opportunity to take lots of arty shots of a giant empty airport.....

China can be lonely and intimidating at times, shanghai can emphasise this, a giant empty airport in shanghai....

Thanks Kitano! It's hard to imagine an Airport looking like that, particularly in a big place like Shanghai. I was hoping for a photo of the girlfriend, particularly since you waited all night in the airport. What a nice man you must be. th_bf

I didn't take any of her just off the plane or she would have killed me Cheesy

This is a one of us from earlier this year, she looks too foxy to complain about anyone seeing it Cheesy

Good pictures, I love the atmosphere of airports in the middle of the night when you have them to yourself; had a similar experience myself at Stansted many years ago (when I had to get the last train in, in order to catch the first plane out).

I hope you don't mind, but I also had a look though your album link too, and really liked your Korean pictures, they reminded me of some of the nights out I had in Seoul (once again) many years ago.

I don't like looking at my pictures of Korea cos I look really unhealthy but course it's no problem

Korea does have a pretty amazing landscape with all those hilly mountains everywhere. Can't believe I got fat when you are never more than a couple of km from a big cool hill to climb....
