Aaron Rogers 28/46 369 YDS 4 TD 1 INT in a 38-35 win (field goal with no time remaining on the clock) over the NY Giants.

That was his worst game of the season according to QB rating.

Watching Denver - Minny highlights

Christian Ponder and Tim Tebow and the half-back option? I've seen this game a few times in the past.

Back then it was called Florida vs Florida St.

Definitely. What they pulled against Chicago today was nothing short of...miraculous. th_ao  See if you can find a highlights reel for the game; words fail me on this one. Just unbelievable.

Giants 37  Cowboys 34

Watched the whole thing here in China live on NBC Sports using my Very Passable Nicety to get around the NBC reverse firewall. Smooth streaming the whole way through.

Great game. Eli brings the Giants back from down 12 in the 4th quarter. Cowboys get a last chance field goal, but the Giants called time out a split second before the snap. SO the Cowboys have to do it again and the Giants block the second kick to preserve the win.

Oh, and a broiled turkey and mozz with honey mustard on a baguette and salt & vinegar chips with Raspberry Snapple Iced Tea for lunch at halftime (thank you City Shops). Completely forgot I was in China for 3.5 hours.

I just watched that game, too.
I kinda figured the game was over when the Cowboys completed that last, late touchdown, so it was just oh! so delightful to watch the loathsome Dallas Cowboys get victory snatched away from them at the last moment. Again. th_ah
And at the end of the game, I got to experience two of my favorite things: the sight of an apoplectic Jerry Jones, and the sound of a football stadium full of pissed-off Texans. th_bf

Hoooooooooly shith! th_ao

The Green Bay Packers just got their winning streak snapped, taking their first loss of the season.

They were beaten by: The Kansas City Chiefs. th_ao th_ar th_ap th_s

Yes, Green Bay had all their stars on the field, including Aaron Rodgers.
The Chiefs had a new quarterback- Kyle Orton- and he was brilliant.

If I hadn't watched the game, I wouldn't have believed it. th_k

Wait...wasn't Orton the guy that got booted out of Denver to make room for Tim Tebow? th_m

Yeah, Orton has occasional great games, but overall he is just an average QB. Tebow, on the other hand, has a chance to be something special.

Braaaaaaadyyyyyyyyy

New England put's up 41 on Denver at Mile High. Not enough Tebow magic in this one.

Then again, Oakland looked like they had their game in the bag but ended up losing by a point when Detroit scores 2 late TDs and  Ndamukong Suh blocks a last second field goal attempt keeping the Denver Tebows in first place.

Green Bay lost to KC. i think this will make it easier for them to win the Superbowl now.

Yeah, the Chiefs outplayed 'em and the Pack did not get their customary takeaways.  But, Green Bay was missing its best wide receiver, best, (and third best), running back and their best offensive lineman.  Still shoulda cleaned up but that's how the worm turns sometimes.

Orton was pumped.  He'd lost to GB once this year with Denver and many times before with Chicago.  But you gotta hand it to him; he pulled a good one out of his ass.

Yes, yes, yes ... my Steelers got their asses kicked last night by the 49er's, 20 - 3.

Roethlisberger passed for 330 yards but also threw three interceptions and fumbled once while basically playing on one leg.

They played @ Candlestick Park in San Fran ---- the game was delayed by the power going out 2x --- didn't help my boys, tho!   th_l

The question is...can they make it to the Super Bowl again?

P.S.  Interesting factoid --- last night's game was between the two teams that have made it to the Super Bowl the most (Steelers: 6x and 49er's: 5x ---- I believe Dallas has also been to the SB 5x).

The Packers have also been there 5x and lost one.  Seems like people think that the Super Bowl has been around as long as football.  This is the Pack's 93rd season and will be the NFL's 46th SB.

Interesting factoid: The Canadian Football League is older than the NFL.
