I'm still getting used to living in Hangzhou because being a big city I always see foreigners if I go anywhere but they hardly ever even smile in the daytime

I get a bit scared when I see a laowai because sometimes I smile and they just ignore me or sometimes they smile and I'm not expecting it and make a weak smile back.
