Howdy everyone!  First time posting here (I need to do an introduction posting which I will), and I need some quick help if possible.

Does anyone have any experience with NUDT?  Haven't found much on it, but I've heard a few favorable things.  Namely, the students are mostly pretty good, because they had to be to get into the school, and they are respectful.

I have an interview tomorrow, and I'm going to have to decide in the next day or two about which job to take (the other one is at Sanda University).  My wife and I are coming to China for the first time, and will be working at a University (somewhere) for the experience.  We both have an MA TESOL.

NUDT seems to have a good reputation, with the supercomputers and all, and we're hoping for any help ya'll can give us.

Thanks in advance! th_bf

The students have to be what to get into the school? Students?

Just make sure you have a chat with one of the current foreign teachers.

Many years ago I taught there. A few civilians studied then, but now all students belong to the military. My students came from the ranks of graduate engineers, and I enjoyed teaching them.

At a school like this, the English Department, if it even exists as a separate organization, holds little sway. The FAO calls the shots.
