Saw on the news last night in Brisbane, about China's plan to tackle pollution in Beijing. Apparently they are looking at 50 control measures. Something was mentioned about only cooking with electricity and something about car fuel.

Something like this will do the trick:

Lambsticks on a grill only on Sundays.  Everything except microwaves on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.  Microwave the leftovers on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday.

Or, phase in proper scrubbers on all industrial smokestacks and push for low and zero emission vehicles.  Oh wait, that would be crazy.  Let's limit those lambsticks to once every two weeks.
