Chain schools are obviously different from site to site, but Raoul gave a thorough review of the Web school up the road in Suzhou.  It sounds better than most training centers, if that's what you are looking for.

Also, Babala works or worked at a Web school in Taizhou for the last three and a half years.  She could probably answer some of your questions.

I think many of us share the belief that Web is OK as a short-term steppingstone...a job you take for as short a time as possible until you find something better.

NONE of them seem to be a place you'd want to stay long-term.
It's just a lousy deal...what they give you and what they want from you are terribly out of proportion with each other...

Another thing to note about the Hangzhou Webs (there are two). Even though the Head Office is in Shanghai, the guy who actually owns the whole chain works out of Hangzhou so the Hangzhou Webs may be quite anal about following all the rules. Some Webs are pretty easy-going about some things which is a good thing.

Oh, right...
This means finding out in advance if they expect you to literally sit there for 40 hours a week, or if you're free to leave when you don't have a class imminent.
If they really want you to hang around all the time, my advice is to not take the contract.
