I found this fantastic online grade book. It is a big hit here at my school, especially since everyone was using Excel.

If you want a user friendly FREE grade book system check this one out.  th_ak

Great find. I watched the video there on how to use it and it seems very easy to use and pretty customizable to fit various needs and types of classes.

I'm happy with my own system, but can see a real benefit to using this one if you don't have a set system yet.

I just found out that next semester our department is going to use it for all our students...will post more about that in the future.

This is really excellent, thanks for posting it. I'll use it for my writing classes this semester and see how it goes!

Yesterday I handed out the slips with the students' unique ID on them and gave them instructions as to how to access their grades online. I also uploaded some materials for them, mostly TOEFL preparation stuff. I really hope the students utilize this site from their end because the more I use it the more I get into it. Thanks again for finding this mlaeux.

TLD - I hope your parents and students utilize it. We had a site very similar to this back in the States. My district paid a small fortune for it, that's why I though it was such a great find. Engrade is actually much more user friendly than the one we had to use.

My school is now using engrade so the parents can log on and see their kid's scores. We also have to post a general outline of our lesson plans. Me and my big mouth!  th_an

M, we're still using it, our entire English department now. The kids aren't really into checking it though, which is sort of disappointing. I put a lot of resources, e-books and study guides and such, on it at first but they say they don't have regular internet access so they can't check.

That's funny...that's the excuse the faculty is using for not posting lesson plans.  th_ah
