Eagle in Mexico

This was our local garbage truck while we lived in a Mayan village in the Yucatan, Mexico.
While in Mexico, there were quite a few reminders that there was a war going on, a war on drugs.
Just an interesting subject.

What were you doing there?
Having guys wander around with guns freaks me out. Even in the airports here, or the hotel in Bangladesh - way too 'whiff of hell'-ish for me.

Nice to see another sort of rubbish truck. I was getting a little too used to the truck being a little van that plays Happy Birthday loudly. I think this one somehow looks a little more dodgy. Perhaps they're running a rubbish racket?
And the guy with the gun is a bit scary. I don't like guns.

This guy with the gun is there to make sure we are good and safe ... their presence helps believe it or not when there is a drug war in progress.

Scary stuff right enough. Good pics, thanks. My visit to Mexico is limited to a small cruise from Alabama to Cozumel.
Not scary!
