These pictures were taken at high tide outside, behind the condo. Mind you, the Gulf Oil disaster is still out there...

This is the view if you look to the left. There is a river on that side.


This shot is at ground level directly behind the condo.


This picture was taken beside the condo. There is a seawall along the parameter.

Thanks Fozz - I've taken a lot of things for granted (this beautiful view for one) but I'm really, really anxious about that problem brewing out there in the Gulf.

Me too. Not many people really realize the extent of the horror happening here, I think.
And the Gulf has some of the coolest places in the Western Hemisphere... ananananan

i'm pretty gutted all the stuff happening to america since i've never been

i think there will be more and more stuff like this and i've never got to see america when it was the number one place :(

Actually, it's not my condo. I'm just a poor 'ol single mom. The condo belongs to my mom.

I decided to bump up the time table and come to China (I was too chicken to drag him off to China when he was "a minor") at the end of August. My son will be 18 and he will come to "visit" in October. Hopefully, he will decide to stay and study at the local university.

BTW - I'm not a beach person, but I love the mountains.  akakakakak
