Hi all, I thought that I would share a few photos that I've been taking while waiting until I return to my second home called China.  I imagine that this will become a largish thread between now and then, so unless there is an objection to non-China photos, I will continue to provide peeks into my world as seen by myself.



This is a mule deer.  I took this photo on the way back to my daughter's house in Alberta, Canada after a morning of hunting for elk using my camera.  No decent elk photos emerged from the morning hunt.



This is the small town in which I live in Saskatchewan, Canada.  As you can tell, it is the season when geese gather for the annual migration south.



A look at colour marking the change of seasons in Canada.

For those interested, I am using a DSC-H50 Sony camera.  It isn't a digital SLR but it is a decent camera none the less.

Oops, I just noticed the thread on photos from home.  It used to be that folks posted all in this area except for non-original photos.  ... my bad ...

I like the picture of the fields and the geese. Looks increibly peaceful - but I guess with all those geese it's anything but  th_ah

The photobook looks amazing.  What colour is the golf course?  Do they water it so it doesn't match the view from it?

The golf course is watered to resemble golf courses all over America and Canada.  The hills are a good illustration of this semi-desert which is great for farming on the flat land surrounding the hills alongside the lake and river.
