Betel nuts are usually taken with lime powder. They give you nice red teeth and gums as well!

Betel leaf is involved here, too. The betel nut and lime are wrapped in the leaf into a little package (called "paan" in India, but don't know the Chinese for it) which is chewed or placed between the lips and gums. The juices are spat as needed. Betel nut is said to have a mild stimulant effect, about like a cup of coffee, so it's probably not worth a try. ayayayayay

Oh yeah...beauty photos, Danny boy... agagagagag

Little known fact, football was invented in China, it was a girls sport, and played in the nude.

With giant ball bearings.

Invented in Guangzhou in 1975 during lunch breaks at the Big Blue Truck Factory.

There is some controversy, however.  Some scholars suggest this historical monument does in fact record the lost origins of naked basketball, and the girl, nicknamed People's Little Blue Mei, is slamming the first dunk.

With a giant ball bearing.
