China is famous for images of people doing things that just aren't safe. OH&S has not hit these shores. So, in celebration of this fact, let's see your pics of the dangerous, unsafe and just downright dumb happenings that occur without anyone even blinking an eyelid...
I have a few on my camera and I will get them up here soon.

one of the courses i have to teach has a section on OH&S. Try teaching that here to chinese students. They have no idea of the concept. They think if yo fall in a construction hole it is your own fault.

Having lunch in a fancy, schmancy restaurant one afternoon, the guys from the local glass compny showed up to replace one of the plates of glass in the atrium overhead. Shot taken from our table. Since the waiter had only brought the breadsticks and drinks at that point, we asked if we could be moved to another table. Honestly...we had to ask.

Except for the pedestrians standing/crossing underneath the branch-trimming work.

I still wish I got a picture of the welders using a piece of cardboard and sunglasses as a mask.

Ask and ye shall receive! http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y151/Deborann/T-XinjiangExpedition1790.jpgI have NO idea why photobucket won't load this. Maybe because it has the T't word in it - it switches it to T and no more!!! Any clues as to how to get around a photo with a file name embedded in it?? I tried using a different way - and again, the censor killed the T word. Having a shower works wonders for the brain cells!!
