Resources for English Students

English, Baby!
http://www.englishbaby.com
This site offers both canned lessons and programs, and live chat and forums where English students can connect with each other and with teachers/native speakers. It can be navigated in languages other than English, including Chinese. The entire site seems to be free to use and has no ads, so we like them a lot already. Might be a good place to point students seeking a bit more input and conversation.

The VOA English News Learning English Website
http://learningenglish.voanews.com/
This site from the Voice of America features a wide range of tools for English learners- news and programs in Special English, music, exercises, activities, and more!

"Vicodin and dumplings...it's a great combination!" (Anthony Bourdain, in Harbin)

we're building the corrupt, incompetent, baijiu-swilling buttheads of tomorrow!" (Raoul F. Duke)
