My new digs
« on: September 23, 2008, 03:27:29 PM »
Hmm... I am not sure this will even work. The uni computer seems much more pleased with the idea of uploading pictures than my connection at home does. Whether it will also allow me to postpics here remains to be seen.

Well, when I moved into my new apartment, it was sparesely furnished. A couple of wooden chairs, a rickety table, some stools for sitting on and nothing else. I think you'll find that I am, despite my many flaws, capable of turning a rather shabby place into something resembling a home. I know Stil needs some cheering up, hence the inclusion of the flowers. Should give him ammo for saracstic comments for days agagagagag

So thoughtful of you to provide flowers for Stil.  I know the bedroom pics will be ready as soon as you've bought a chocolate and a rose for the pillow.

It seems rather, um, tiny.  Cozy is a good word.  And, yes, you've made it quite homey.  Remind me again which furniture you purchased at a great price.  I remember the sofa is yours, but I can't remember what else you bargained for.

Smallish, yes, but how much room does a single guy need? I mean, it's twice the size of my dorm when I went to uni. The couch, the bookshelf and the four chairs were the furniture I puchased.

I should invite you over to redecorate my apartment...or at least give my wife a few pointers.

uhm... ETR, any time you in Beijing, we can work out a little barter! I can picture you with a sign hanging around your neck " Will Clean for Lodging"

nice trick on the curtains, I might steal that for my own..

Why would I hide that? It's got pretty flowers. Made my bed...that's the first thing I do in the morning, doesn't everyone?
