My school doesn't allow visible tattoos but my three are at or near the should on my right and left shoulders. Shorts sleeves or rolled up long sleeves are no problem as they are still covered. The place I got 2 of them done here in Harbin is the cleanest I have ever seen anywhere. The guys WC was cleaner than most shops I had wandered in to back home. Will post pics of my artwork later tonight.

Got the pictured work done at this place. http://www.djttattoo.com/Che Guevara was rmb 1500 the Cuban flag with the mountains, trees, and tobacco barns/leaves was rmb 2000. A lot of cash but the guy is amazing, clean, and thorough. Both times I had my ideas but he had better ones to improve my designs. [attachment removed for space reason by admin]

Nikster!
Um, yes, they will. Besides ear tats would hurt like hell!

Nik, I know I sound like a mom or something but you are fairly young. Who knows what career path you may want to take in the future and someday those ear tats may not seem like such a good idea.

yesh your probably right, and what you say makes perfect sense. but i have a habit of not listening to sound advice i feel that if it was REALLY objected to and i REALLY wanted the job/interview etc i could put make up or somthing to cover it. I have had my heart set on this idea for amny years .

Nik, I think Babs nailed it. At present all your tats can be covered with pants and a long sleeved shirt. Leave your neck, hands and head au natural, or you lose the ability to control your image. Sooner or later you'll have a situation where you'll need to look clean cut.

If you ever have ambitions of teaching in a place like Thailand, you don't want exposed tats/piercings or wild hairstyles...the bias against such appearance factors gets much stronger down that way. Of course, I guess if you wanted to dress as a woman, that would be cool...

Yeah, you would know. Which is more than I can say about your understanding of the QUOTE tag. Or your ability to stay on topic.(eye-roll smilie badly needed here)

The "quote" tag was seriously out of whack this morning. I edited three times, but it still persisted in making up it's own mind. Off-topic, my arse! You mentioned Thailand. I merely expanded the warning!!

I mentioned teaching there, you silly man. Your arse is always off-topic. But I'm sure the problem was the tag, not the editing.
