I am in a Yahoo group and I get it everyday with no problem.

Do you get it through email access or web access? I was asking about web access (ie. checking the groups' web pages as opposed to receiving group messages by email).

Still no internet access to Yahoo groups. The connections time out.

Now, a new twist. I use My Yahoo as my start page, and have used it as my start page since...oh... start pages, Yahoo and browsers were invented. As of yesterday, it's no go anymore. First time ever. This one's a bit different from the Yahoo Groups time-out though. My Yahoo page loads for a fraction of a second. I can see it and then *poof* it's gone. Blank page. (I use Opera as my browser FWIW). If I go to the generic www.yahoo.com page, that loads fine. Can even access my Yahoo Mail from that page, but if I try to access my personal My Yahoo page, same problem...there for a mo' and then gone. It's gotta be the news headlines that's causing the GFW to yank the connection after it starts to load (whereas Yahoo Groups just never connects at all).

I use a Rogers account (large Canadian media company, internet, TV, radio, phone etc) and their email system is affiliated with Yahoo. I was having a great deal of problems all day Sunday, this morning I picked up all my mail. Rogers' home page has news and info links, including the story of China blocking some sites. That story was blocked including some follow up links. So I'm not sure what I am or not getting.

I get the groups through e-mail.  Yahoo news stories about the big T are blocked though.  I will turn CNN on TV tonight and see if it is working or being blocked.

And...10 or so days after it started (prior to that other problem)...Yahoo Groups now appears to be back in business in the PRofC.
