Wuhan City
Wuhan is a city of 8,000,000 people, located in the heart of Central China at the intersection of the important high-speed rail-links Beijing-Hong Kong and Shanghai-Chongqing. While business, culture and night-life in the city are developing quickly and the skyline is growing higher, living expenses are still much lower than in the coastal urban centers of Shanghai and Shenzhen. The city is situated on the Yangtzee River, spanned by three bridges, and its "East Lake" is the largest lake in a city in China. As the country's sixth city, Wuhan started the construction of a subway in 2004. It is an educational hub and ranks 3rd among China's cities with the most universities (52).
