I'm not sure about getting that one fixed.. I think you might need to take it to your apple shop! Another option is to just try to softly get it out of there by tilting the macbook to the side.. but then again, that might mess up the laser lens.

I know a few people that have had the same thing happen.. it's not a mac or pc thing though! It's just that slot-loading disc drives cannot swallow mini-cds
Apple is actually coming up with an adaptor soon (that's the word down the grapevine)

don't beat yourself up too hard... your mate that ordered it should be able to arrange to have it fixed/removed

Finally got my new baby all organised - friend came over to remove the stuck disk - plastic paper clip unfolded worked wonders.  And yes we did test it later - other disks work fine in it.

Wireless and Bluetooth both now activated and I am learning to play with the Mac system.

Lotus,  spend some time over at www.mac360.com ! they have a lot of useful information for Mac users and the folks on the forums are great help... you'll find us macheads extremely friendly and helpful to new comers..
