Has anyone worked for this chain, or has some gossip about them?

I'm tentatively looking for a short-term EAP type contract after July and they're the only ones with anything that suits my needs.

I don't know a lot about them. They seem to have a strong presence in Russia. Main thing I noticed about them was very high demands for teacher qualifications...and staggeringly low salaries for what they expected.
Maybe they're better in China?

Vege,

Stay away from them!

I was warned these guys are a little shafty through one of the grads from my english teacher training school having a nasty experience ie asking people to come in on tourist visa being told that they would get their Z at expense of agency only having to folk out themselves, high salaries (for which NON where paid) and longer teaching hours than stipulated on the contract.   The usual stay away from....

I will try and track down my friend and get in touch with you,

Steph

It is slightly better than EF. Again, depends where you get to work (aka who your DoS will be). I worked as a staff for BKC-IH in Russia. It was ok. Good DoS - better teaching environment for teachers. IH in Qingdao was alright. But then again - EF there was alright too.

We aren't disagreeing, dear.
Just saying almost ANYTHING would be better than EF.

If I had to choose between working at EF and feeding my nads through a mulcher, I'd...

well, I'd work for EF.
But I'd have to think about it briefly.
