Hey all

I'm wondering if anyone has any information on New Oriental Education and Technology Group?  A Chinese friend of mine in the US has suggested that they might be a good fit for me (a first-time teacher, relatively fluent in Chinese).

Thoughts?

New Oriental is a chain - therefore each place will be run differently.   But - they do expect you to entertain the students as well as teach.  Your continued employment is based on how the students respond to you.

Some of it will depend on exactly what they expect you to do - teach Oral English or prepare students for IELTS, TOEFL etc.
