Couple days ago temps were in the 30s. Today it's suddenly 16 degrees Celsius. There's cold rain and 30km/h wind. And pigeons. Still with the pigeons. Is there no environment they can't ruin?

Pigeons and doves are distributed everywhere on Earth, except for the driest areas of the Sahara Desert, Antarctica and its surrounding islands, and the high Arctic.

Planning to buy an igloo in Antarctic for a pigeon-free retirement? ahahahahah

And in weather-related news, temperatures in DG have plunged to a very cold 24 C.  Authorities are reminding residents to make sure to dress warmly to avoid hypothermia.

For preference I'd be warm. I guess it'll have to the Sahara.

Or anywhere else and a shotgun.

Wouldn't work.  At the rate pigeons can breed, you'd never have enough ammo to kill them all. bababababa

CP should become a Buddhist and be reincarnated as a peregrine falcon.

Anyway... it warmed up to over 32 drgrees today a little south of Zhengzhou after a few days of fall cooling and intermittent rain.

Well it's wet and windy and below 10 deg C, but the PM2.5 AQI just dropped into the green for the second time in two days, making it a clean, green sweep: PMs 2.5 and 10, dioxides nitrogen and sulfur, along with Ozone and carbon monoxide, all below 50. One forgets how weightless breathable air can be.

Feels like about 28 or 29 here in beautiful Palolem.  There's a nice breeze off the ocean.  Waves seem a little less active today. (Got slammed hard in the surf yesterday)

Around 6pm yesterday the Air Quality Index blasted way up to a ludicrous 999. Tremendous amounts of PM10 had appeared somehow and most of it read as Sulfur Dioxide. There was no obviously widespread airpocalypse though. It was all very localised - sites a few kilometers away were still reading only red scores, merely unhealthy as opposed to hazardous. Apparently, what happened was still cold air sank down to here and brought all sorts of shit down with it, including a sudden drop in temperatures. Yesterday was - almost - shirt sleeve weather, and tomorrow it gonna snow.

26. grey, and a bit rainy here in beautiful Dongguan.  I just hope it's not a cold front.  I'm hoping to schedule winter here for the next time I'm out of the country.
