By ways remote and distant waters sped,
Brother, to thy sad graveside am I come,
That I may give the last gifts to the dead,
And vainly parley with thine ashes dumb;
Since She who now bestows and denies
Hath ta'en thee, hapless brother from mine eyes.
But lo! these gifts, the heirlooms of past years,
Are made sad things to grace thy coffin-shell;
Take them, all drenchèd with a brother's tears,
And, brother, for all time, hail and farewell.

No, dammit, I don't want  to add a new thread here. llllllllll

Especially not one like this.
Condog was a great guy. Smart, warm, creative...he was a young man with a bright future.
He leaves a lovely young wife and a little son behind.
He was an old friend of myself personally, and of the entire Saloon.

I don't know what happened, and I can't wrap my mind around why this man was taken from us, so young and so suddenly.
I can only say Godspeed, my friend, may your soul find its rest.
We will miss you. ananananan ananananan ananananan

not many details. he was found in his flat yesterday

he had been back in england for about a year and a half. really don't want to speculate

i only met him in real life a couple of times but i've known him online for years and years. he was so young and he had so many ideas and good words for everyone, it really is shocking and unfair

this is a story he wrote about a month ago. i can't bare to read it again :(:(:(:(

ConDog and gonzo were the two who got me to switch over to the Saloon from that other place. I had been exchanging PMs with CDog at the Sleezy Goon, and as we were both in the same city and had common interests, the plan was always that our families would get together and get to know each other. Life, as we all know, is what happens while you make other plans. I made trips to my home country, he and his family moved to England and it seemed we'd never be more than two guys who liked each other and corresponded a bit.

Noodles, I find any Stella I'm inviting you (any of you) over for a wake.

I mean, I dunno what to say. I met the guy a few times in and around Newcastle (UK). F*ck me. That was a shock. The guy is 32 for fuck's sake. Does anybody know how this happened? Having chatted to him I think I may know but would like to be sure.
