Hmmm, I never quite found anything I really thought would do.  The initial celtic knot was because I have that same tat; the recent "I am Canadian" was obvious.  However, there have been a few posts where my name was abbreviated to KC...hence the Sunshine Band.  I think I might stick with this one. bfbfbfbfbf

And a fine choice it is KC.  bfbfbfbfbf

Hey, Decurso, did you get the job?

Actually I did!Turned it down because the contract reeked of evil...which may explain why they were desperate enough to offer it to somebody who sent a picture of Jason Voorhees as their resume photo.

Lotus Eater from the Odysseus myth, plus the poem.  I also like eating lotus root and seeds.  Love the flowers - the whole plant has nice mythology in Chinese.  He (my Chinese surname) with a different character also means Lotus.

This avatar - was in a hurry, couldn't find my old one, and so found these lovely cats eyes.  Although they are supposed to blink and aren't.  alalalalal After horses I am basically a cat person.

After a few months of the same avatar I get bored.  So I'll probably change again - especially if I find something that moves.

My avatar and the name of it symbolizes my two favourite genres. SF and Comedy. Have won awards for writings in both categories, nationally and locally. It shows my sophistication (MAD magazine) and my erudition (von Neumann machines).

And my split personality too.

Oh, sorry, the name of my avatar is Alfred von Neumann, a mutant cyborg version of Alfred E Newman, the logo of MAD magazine.

Quote
In Hawaiian mythology, Lono is a fertility and music god who descended to Earth on a rainbow to marry Laka.

The question is, who on this forum would like to be my Laka?
