I have absolutely no plans whatsoever to attend or even come within a stone's throw of expo. Today however I was chatting online with a former student who wants very much to go. I cautiously asked her what she wanted to see, and if she was prepared for the crowds. She replied that yes, the crowds would be a headache, but she would go mid-week to minimise the inconvenience and waiting. And what she wanted to see wasn't the usual tourist kitcsh (I didn't think she was interested in that, but it was cool that she said it in her own words), but she's very interested in modern architecture and wants specifically to see the British pavillion. She said that its one thing to see the pictures online, but another to be there and experience it.
