Reminds me of the paid bicycle rickshaw thing I went on in a Beijing hutong the one time I visited there. I am not sure why a ghetto area is supposed to be interesting for tourists? It looked a lot like the photo above.

Hah, the bicycle rickshaw hutong tour thing is definitely a waste of money. You can walk around in the hutongs for free. You can take a bicycle rickshaw anywhere else and it costs like 5rmb. Put the two together and it is like
1. Buy bicycle rickshaw
2. Enter the hutong district
3. ????
4. Profit!
