I find warm ups come in very handy for first thing in the morning when kids have just been dragged out of bed, washed, dressed and driven to school. They open their eyes and suddenly realize that they are in class. Still half asleep its pretty hard to get their mind onto teaching content. To time to stand up everyone and jump around for 5 minutes and wake up.
I have a list of warm ups that I use and that I am happy to share below. But after using them time and time again, they become stale along with my teaching. So its always good to keep things fresh to re-energize the classes again.
If you could please share some of your warm up for all age groups, it would be a great help.
