My best buddy is celebrating a birthday today.  That's right, Barbie is another year older but doesn't look a day over 25.

It started off with a good start - a bowl of dofu nao with daughter and a student and then a walk around the school lake before phoning my parents in XinXiLan.

Did you know that ice sings when it starts to break-up? It was a new experience for daughter and I, listening to the ice sing and hiss and burble. The ice is really thinning so daughter and I were throwing stones onto the lake to see if we could smash through - small things amuse small minds! The student just laughed at us.

Plus, I think I need to wear glasses - I had to read George's message about three times before I got it. I kept reading Happy Birdie, virgin cheexyblonde

Ah...CD...mana from the heavens. I'm definitely salivating, and CheekyGal, it 'aint just Hoganlanders who salivate over vegemite, even Raoul said he loved vegemite uuuuuuuuuu (if you read between the lines) and besides,I 'aint a Hoganlander! I'm a Kiwi, big difference.  bfbfbfbfbf

And cheers everybody, thanks for the good wishes and thoughts. Taught most of the day and then went out for Chinese Hotpot at a local Chinese restaurant, a very fancy upmarket restaurant. Kcanuck hauled in some Mongolren from a neighbouring room and they sang two songs about the grasslands and missing home. It was good...now I'm ready for bed...feeling my age jjjjjjjjjj and the booze...
