Great photos! I love parks like this- even though I haven't been to this park, it also captures some of my favorite parts of China :)

Shaanxi is a great province, and Baoji is a very nice city.

Xwarrior, what an interesting park. "Every picture tells a story" is really true when I look at these and questions keep springing to mind. Thanks very much. agagagagag

Many thanks for posting these!
It looks like a brilliant place, so much to do & everyone seems to be happy and having a great time.....especially that lady in the choir who saw you take her photo...hehehe

It really puts parks in the west to shame!

Are those snooker tables or pool tables outside in the park??

snooker tables have curved pockets and pool tables have straight cut sides for pockets...

They are playing Pool on tables with curved pockets - wonder if you can call it Snoopoo?  kkkkkkkkkk

I am not sure that China is any different to New Zealand, where both games are played on a snooker table. If there is a distinction it is that Pool is generally played on small-sized tables (as found in entertainment areas and pubs), while Snooker is the game of choice on a full-sized table.

Those observations are based on the English version of the games and it possible, I guess, that a table with straight pockets relates to American Pool ('8 ball'?).

I am happy to be corrected on any of these points!  bfbfbfbfbf
